I’m here to make sure nothing bad ever happens to you.” “My brave knight.” She clearly likes this idea, because she’s instantly hopping up and down, waving her free arm. “The quarterback princess and the brave knight. Here.” This is my first book by this author and I know it won’t be the last.

4.5 Sweet & Sizzling Stars! I loved this sweet and sizzling friends to lovers/second chance romance! I couldn't wait for more about Scout after meeting him in This Much is True. Scout and Daisey's heartwarming tale of the power of friendship, family, forgiveness, and love, was everything and more. Scout and Daisey were friends since they were young. Scout wanted more when they were in high school but Daisey wasn't ready. Then when they meet again after college, they continue their easy friendship with their fiery attraction burning hot below the surface. When they can't hold back any longer, they have a passionate affair. But their dreams were taking them to opposite sides of the country, leaving both their hearts broken. But Dreams never take the easy road and some dreams change completely. Years later Scout is home wanting to reconnect with Daisey. What happens when secrets are revealed, and could change their lives forever? This was a sweet story that will warm your heart. Daisey was a strong, determined woman who was the perfact match for the charming, kind, and loving, Scout. I loved them together and they had me laughing, smiling, and swooning throughout. This story had so much emotion and heart, I dare you not to fall in love with it!

Tia Louise is one of my favourite authors and friends to lovers are one of my favourite genres so Twist of Fate was always going to be on my radar and let first say this book was everything I expected and so much more. This book has all the feels you want in a five star read. This is Scout Dunne and Daisy Sales story and they have a wonderful, entertaining romance to share. We have met Scout in a previous book but I think you would still love this story even if you haven’t read This Much is True but I will say I’m sure once you pick this book up you will want more from the characters I have grown to love through this series of stand-alone’s. This couple are perfect for each other and I fell hard and fast for Scout and his swagger that I couldn’t get enough of, I adored Daisy and her sweet, caring ways and what can I say about Daisy’s wonderful daughter Melody apart from she is sure to make you smile because she nearly stole the show with her one liners only a child can deliver well. A word of warning, please don’t start this book without having time to finish it because I’m sure like me you could be heading for a sleepless night with this captivating romance. I read this in one session, I swooned, I sighed, I laughed and I giggled as I joined Scout, Daisy and Melody on their journey. The chemistry is sizzling and the banter is witty and I want more Scout and Daisy. Great, entertaining read from the very talented Ms Louise.
